Bitter & Twisted – Boutique Beer Festival

Former maximum-security prison, Maitland Gaol, will be transformed into a boutique beer festival, showcasing all great things – music, food and you guessed it, beer! This annual event running from Saturday 2 to Sunday 3 November will see over 80 craft beer come through the gates, along with an eclectic range of music and entertainment to keep everyone occupied all day long. Wander around the grounds with a beer in one hand and food in the other while you check out the old exercise yard, explore the cells of some of Australia’s most infamous criminals, and learn about the gaol’s huge history.
