The café provides a diverse and delightful menu complimented by Gartelmann wines and a generous range of beverages and delicious Vittoria coffee.
Situated on ‘the deck’ over the beautiful dam in young forest bushland, you’ll find The Deck Café Lovedale. Experienced Chef, Matt Dillow opened the Café in July 2013 as his third hospitality venture in the Hunter Valley.
The Deck Café is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch and for dinner on Friday and Saturday. You can also book for weddings, private functions and off site catering. But if that’s not enough, join Matt on his Food, Wine and Produce Tours, with destinations like Tasmania, Margaret River, New Zealand and Italy, it’s an experience to remember.
The Deck Café is the perfect place to start the day with everything from light snacks to hearty breakfasts on the menu. Enjoy freshly made Scones, Belgian Waffles, a Breaky Burrito, or their cure to a big night, the Hangover Roll. If you’re after something to fill you up for a full day of wine tours, look no further than the mouth-watering Wood Roasted Salmon or Big Breakfast.
The Tapas menu available for lunch and dinner is ideal for sitting back and relaxing with friends as you take in the incredible view. Begin with Duck Liver Parfait with toasted sourdough or Bresaola, truffled mushroom and goats curd Bruschetta. Follow these dishes with pumpkin and fetta filled Tempura Zucchini Flowers or Blue Swimmer Crab with avocado timbal, Salmon caviar dressing and croutes. For the big finale, enjoy Lamb Backstrap filled with fetta, Prosciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderloin or Smoked Duck Breast. If that’s not enough, there’s also dessert tapas with Soft Centred Chocolate Soufflé, or Red Wine Poached Pear. These are just a handful of the dishes available on the diverse Tapas Menu.
