Known for its breathtaking vineyards and picturesque landscapes, the Hunter Valley is also home to a flourishing arts scene, where local and international artists find inspiration in the region's natural beauty.

Among the standout galleries in the region and with an emphasis on contemporary works, Watershed Gallery is a vibrant and continually changing space to enjoy and interact with art and artists. Working with a diverse group of career artists, the gallery achieves a striking balance of styles in a stunning exhibition. It is a must-visit for art lovers exploring the area.

Another notable space, Winmark Gallery, seamlessly blends oenology with artistry, housing an impressive sculpture garden alongside its cellar door. Visitors can wander through the grounds, discovering striking installations while enjoying premium wines before heading into the gallery, which features an impressive collection of works by talented Australian artists.

Performance Art Culture Cessnock (PACC) is dedicated to fostering innovation and inclusivity in the arts, with an annual program showcasing vibrant local and national contemporary artworks. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in thought-provoking exhibitions crafted by local artisans.

Together, these venues form a compelling arts trail that adds depth and sophistication to any wine country experience.
