Celebrating the Season's Bounty at Hunters Quarter



As the leaves turn golden and the air grows crisper, Hunters Quarter in the heart of Wine Country unveils its eagerly anticipated autumn menu, capturing the essence of the season's bounty.

 

Renowned for its commitment to locally sourced ingredients and innovative culinary techniques, Hunters Quarter invites diners on a gastronomic journey through the rich flavours of autumn.


Drawing inspiration from the region's abundant harvest, the new menu showcases a symphony of seasonal ingredients meticulously crafted into exquisite dishes by Chef Brian Duncan and his talented team. From earthy root vegetables to succulent seafood, each plate celebrates the autumnal abundance that graces the region.


Start your culinary adventure with an appetiser of whipped Binnorie Goats Fetta with spiced nectarine, truffled honey, macadamia, charcoal sourdough crisps and sage. Or indulge in the delicate flavours horseradish tomato vinaigrette—a perfect marriage of land and sea.


For the main course, immerse yourself in the robust flavours of the season with dishes like Wagyu Beef Lyonnaise with Paris mash, cipollini onions and tarragon mustard or the Spiced Char-Grilled Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Nduja peperonata, zucchini insalata and smoked sour cream. Vegan options abound on the dedicated vegan menu, with highlights such as the Grilled Zucchini with split pomodoro, saffron fennel and herbed pangrattato.


No autumn feast is complete without a decadent dessert, and Hunters Quarter delivers indulgent treats like the Chocolate Moelleux with whipped panacotta, manuka honey and macadamia.


If you find it challenging to choose from the à la carte menu (who wouldn’t!), then the Degustation Menu ($150pp) promises to tantalise your tastebuds with a selection of the five most popular dishes from the main menu. Problem solved!


Complemented by an extensive selection of wines from nearby vineyards, the autumn menu at Hunters Quarter promises an authentic taste of the region, designed to delight the senses and leave a lasting impression.
