Mead is wine made from honey rather than grapes and is one of the oldest fermented beverages in the world! At Honey Wines, you can immerse yourself in the Honey and Mead Tasting Experience at the retail outlet in Broke. You’ll have the chance to choose and taste six different kinds of meads on a tasting paddle alongside a tasting of local honey varieties such as raw honey, vanilla bean honey and chilli honey. The tasting includes an informative talk on the ins and outs of the meadery. On your way out, pick up a bottle or two to take home from the health potion collection and try out some other honey products, like the Viking drinking horn!
